Australia-wide buying guide
Vending machines by state and territory
Six states, two territories, one clear buying checklist. Request current used units or compare new models, then confirm the complete quote for your postcode.

Start with the actual machine, not a location label
This is a purchasing guide, not a list of branch offices or confirmed local stock. Existing city guides help you describe the location; availability, freight, installation and service coverage require a supplier response for the exact address.
Used-machine enquiries go to Richard Werner at VMRUS Pty Ltd. New-model enquiries go to our Automatic Vending Specialists supply contacts. Ask who is selling the equipment, where it is held and what the written quote includes before committing.

NSW
New South Wales
Showroom inspection and metropolitan access
If you want to inspect new equipment, request an appointment at the supplier showroom in Seven Hills, Sydney. Confirm the display models before travelling. For a used unit, ask Richard at VMRUS where the actual machine is held; a supplier showroom photograph is not proof of used stock. For Sydney towers and regional sites alike, provide loading-dock limits, doorway measurements and the final postcode.
VIC
Victoria
Fit the cabinet to the final room
For Melbourne offices, workshops and regional Victorian sites, measure the whole access path rather than only the room. Ask whether the quote includes unloading and positioning, especially where lifts or narrow entries are involved. For refrigerated equipment in an unheated space, ask the supplier to check the operating-temperature requirements of the exact model.
QLD
Queensland
Check heat, exposure and the site footprint
For Brisbane, coastal and inland Queensland locations, explain whether the machine will sit indoors, in an open shed or outdoors. Refrigeration capacity and weather protection are separate checks: an indoor chilled machine is not automatically an outdoor-rated machine. Provide shade, ventilation and power details so the supplier can assess the configuration without assuming suitability from the postcode alone.
WA
Western Australia
Compare landed cost and service arrangements
For Perth and regional Western Australia, ask where the actual machine will be dispatched from and compare the complete delivered price. Do not assume the supplier has local stock or that a national quote includes positioning. Ask who can service the model, how replacement parts are supplied, and which freight or call-out costs are excluded from the warranty.
SA
South Australia
Separate metropolitan and regional requirements
For Adelaide and regional South Australia, include the actual delivery address rather than asking for a state-wide freight estimate. A workshop, public foyer and remote accommodation site have different product demand, access and service needs. Ask for cabinet size, refrigeration requirements, payment connectivity and a written handover plan for the particular location.
TAS
Tasmania
Confirm the freight origin and transfer responsibilities
For Hobart, Launceston and other Tasmanian locations, confirm whether stock is already in Tasmania or requires interstate transport. If a sea crossing or multiple carriers are involved, ask the supplier to identify transfer responsibilities, transit insurance and unloading arrangements. No crossing schedule, freight charge or delivery date is confirmed by this guide.
ACT
Australian Capital Territory
Plan building approvals and secure access
For Canberra workplaces and institutions, check building-manager approval, loading access, lift capacity and any contractor sign-in requirements before requesting delivery. Give the supplier the equipment dimensions and access windows. Where a site requires restricted purchasing or staff identification, ask whether the exact payment system supports it rather than assuming a standard reader will meet the requirement.
NT
Northern Territory
Confirm remote support, climate suitability and connectivity
For Darwin and other Northern Territory locations, tell the supplier about exposure, humidity, site remoteness and payment connectivity. Ask for the model's operating limits, parts support and service arrangements in writing. For cashless equipment, verify the reader's network requirements at the actual installation point. Stock origin, delivery route and seasonal access must be confirmed for the specific request.
Make a postcode-specific quote comparable
Two quotes are only comparable when they describe the same machine condition, capacity and included equipment. Separate the machine price, GST, reader and setup fees, freight, unloading, positioning and ongoing payment fees. If a supplier quotes a bundled total, ask what is excluded and whether access restrictions could create extra charges.
For a used unit, ask for dated actual-unit photos, known faults, completed work and test-vend evidence. For a new model, confirm the configuration and stock status. Do not treat a catalogue image or starting price as a reservation. New equipment has the owner-stated 12-month parts-only warranty; used cover must be stated for the individual unit. Keep the accepted quote and warranty terms together.
A free workplace placement is a different arrangement from buying equipment. Site suitability and an approved operator must be assessed first; sending an enquiry does not confirm an installation. A transport request is also an enquiry rather than a booked move. Use the relevant form so the request reaches the correct team.
