Questions
Vending machine hire FAQs
Weekly cost, ownership, tax, servicing and approval times — the questions procurement asks first.
What does it cost to hire a vending machine in Australia?
Rental on a snack or drink machine commonly starts around $62 a week on a longer term, with coffee, combo and frozen units costing more. The weekly figure depends on the machine, the term (24 to 60 months) and the finance assessment.
Do I own the machine at the end?
On a rent-to-own agreement, yes — ownership transfers at the end of the term or on a final payment, depending on the contract. A straight rental does not transfer ownership. We tell you which structure a quote uses before you sign.
Is a rental tax-deductible?
Rental payments on equipment used for business purposes are generally deductible, and rent-to-own structures are usually treated differently again. Confirm the treatment with your accountant — we are not tax advisers.
Is a deposit required?
Many approvals are written with no deposit and 100% of the equipment financed, though that depends on the lender's assessment of the business.
Who services a hired machine?
Servicing depends on the agreement. A hire with a service plan includes scheduled maintenance and fault response; a finance-only agreement leaves servicing to you, and you can book our technicians as needed.
Do I stock a hired machine myself?
Yes. With hire or rent-to-own you buy and stock the product and keep the sales revenue. If you would rather not touch stock at all, a free placement, where the operator does everything, is the better fit.
How long does approval take?
Most finance decisions come back within one to two business days once the application and identification are in. We reply to the initial enquiry within 8 business hours.
Can I hire for a short-term event?
Short-term event hire is limited and depends on machine availability and location. Tell us the dates and site and we will say honestly whether we can cover it.
